What are khhaish candles made of?
Each khhaish candle is crafted with a clean-burning soy wax blend, high-quality fragrance oils, and lead-free cotton wicks. Our candles are paraben-free and phthalate-free.
How long do your candles burn?
Our 8oz candles with two wicks burn for approximately 35–45 hours, depending on usage and environment. Always trim the wicks to 1/4" before each burn for the best performance.
Where are khhaish candles made?
All khhaish candles are currently hand-poured in small batches in Denver, Colorado.
Are your candles safe for pets?
While we use high-quality, clean fragrances, we recommend burning candles in well-ventilated areas and keeping them out of reach of pets.
How should I care for my candle?
• Trim the wicks to 1/4” before each burn.
• Let the wax melt to the edges of the jar during the first burn to prevent tunneling.
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer returns. However, if your candle arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll be happy to make it right.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within the U.S., but international shipping is something we’re exploring. Stay tuned!
Are you available in any retail stores or markets?
Not yet, but we plan to sell at seasonal markets, pop-ups, and select boutiques. So you can find us there! Follow us on Instagram @khhaish for updates on where we’ll be next.
Do you offer gift wrapping or custom messages?
Yes! Just leave a note at checkout or email hello@khhaish.com, and we’ll include a handwritten message and wrap your candle beautifully — on us!
How do you pronounce khhaish and what does it mean?
Khhaish (pronounced “khai-eesh”) is a stylized spelling of the word Khwaish or Khwahish, which means desire, wish, or longing. The word has origins in both Urdu and Persian, where it evokes a poetic sense of yearning... for beauty, for connection, for something just beyond reach.
The name khhaish is both symbolic and intentional. Spelled backwards, it closely mirrors Shaikh, the founder's last name, which is a quiet nod to identity, lineage, and the way longing and self often reflect each other.
Each candle is a sensory translation of that longing and a way to transform mood into scent, memory into moment, and desire into something you can hold, light, and return to.

We currently offer domestic shipping within the U.S.:

Do you offer local delivery?
Yes! We offer local delivery to select parts of the Denver metro area. Eligible addresses will see the local delivery option at checkout. If you're unsure whether your location qualifies, feel free to contact us for confirmation.
